Parago has a proud tradition of supporting our community, as well as supporting our employees’ efforts in the community through a variety of philanthropic efforts. Whether we are sponsoring and training for the Dallas White Rock Marathon (more than 1/3 of our employees participate in the marathon!), coordinating blood drives or supporting an employee’s personal efforts Parago is consistently working to be involved and improve our community.
Parago employees have formed a group called CARES, which works to coordinate philanthropic efforts throughout the year. CARES fundraising efforts are dedicated to supporting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSHRC) – and employees contributions have generated more than $50,000 in donations since 2008. (Check out the fantastic work TSRHC does in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions). Our fundraising efforts are fun too – whether we are performing at Parago’s Got Talent for the kids at TSRHC, getting goodies at the Silent Auction, dunking executives for charity or holding a Chili and Queso Cook-off.
Dallas White Rock Marathon™
Every year our runners and their fans head to Dallas’ beautiful White Rock Lake to participate in the Marathon. For the last few years, more than 1/3 of our employees have run – whether in the corporate relay, half or full marathon. The Dallas White Rock Marathon benefits Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.
